Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 (Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia)

Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 (Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026), originally scheduled for April but postponed due to the conflict in the region, will now take place at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from 2 – 4 October 2026.

Malaysia is no stranger to Formula 1, having hosted its first Grand Prix at Sepang in 1999. The race was discontinued after its 2017 edition due to escalating hosting and licensing costs, coupled with declining ticket sales.

Nearly a decade later, Formula 1 is making an unexpected return to Sepang, giving motorsport fans in the region a rare opportunity to enjoy back-to-back race weekends, with the Singapore Grand Prix 2026 taking place the following week.
