At 2:30pm on 22 July 2023, the organiser announced that the remaining schedule of the event has been cancelled due to 'controversial conduct and remarks' made by Matty Healy of The 1975 UK band on the first night of the show. The Malaysian authorities have issued a directive to cancel this event with immediate effect.
