Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon 2025 (Malaysia)

Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon 2025 (KLSCM 2025), Malaysia’s biggest running event, is making its grand return on 4 & 5 October 2025!

In a refreshing change from previous editions, this year’s run will finish at the Stadium Merdeka, set against the stunning backdrop of Merdeka 118, the second tallest building in the world.

The 2025 edition features six race categories: the 42.195km full marathon, 21.0975km half marathon, 10km run, 5km fun run, and the 2km and 800m kids’ dashes.

Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a passionate runner, or just in it for fun, no matter your age, KLSCM 2025 is an unmissable event on the running calendar.

Note: This year, the race will not flag off from Dataran Merdeka due to ongoing maintenance work. Instead, it will begin in the Kuala Lumpur city centre, with the exact starting point to be announced soon.

• Malaysian Residents refer to Malaysian citizens residing in Malaysia, permanent residents, and expatriates holding valid passes or permits and residing in the country. Malaysian citizens living abroad are not included.
• Selected Standard Chartered Priority Banking credit and debit cardholders in Malaysia are entitled to a 15% discount on registration fees, limited to the first 1,000 registrants.
