Sibu Town Square Countdown 2024 / 2025, a New Year celebration organised by the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC), will be held on 31 December 2024 at Dataran Tun Tuanku Bujang.
Attracting an expected 20,000 attendees, the event will feature live music performances by renowned Malaysian artists such as Azlan & The Typewriter, Bell Yu Tian 傅熙雅 and Daniel Cheah 车志立, along with clown and magic shows and a musical fireworks display to usher in the new year.
