World Lion Dance Championship 2025 (Genting, Pahang, Malaysia)

World Lion Dance Championship 2025 (云顶世界狮王争霸赛2025), marking its 15th edition, will take place from 25 – 27 July 2025 at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands.

This exciting event will also celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic resort atop Mount Ulu Kali. Over 40 lion dance troupes from across the globe will compete for the coveted championship title and a share of the total prize pool of USD 37,800.

Don’t miss this thrilling spectacle as talented performers bring the lions to life, captivating audiences with their dazzling acrobatics on towering stilts.

Event Schedule

• Preliminary – 25 & 26 July 2025 (Friday & Saturday), 10:00am onwards
• Finals – 27 July 2025 (Sunday), 12:00pm onwards

Notes:

• Ticket prices quoted exclude processing fee of RM 4.
• Every attendee, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the hall, including children and infants.
• Children shorter than 95cm and do not require a seat may purchase a child ticket at RM 26 per person on the date of event.
• Genting Rewards Members may use their Genting Points (GPs) to redeem tickets for this event.
