Kuching Festival 2026, the 40th edition of the annual celebration held in conjunction with Sarawak Day, returns from 22 July - 16 August 2026. Showcasing the rich heritage and multicultural identity of Sarawak's capital, the festival will be centred around the Kuching South City Hall precinct, with selected programmes taking place at other venues across the city. The festival's biggest draw is its iconic street food fair, featuring 323 stalls offering an extensive selection of Sarawakian delicacies, Malaysian favourites, as well as international and fusion cuisine.
