Pesta Pulau Pinang 2024 / 2025, the much-awaited year-end mega carnival in Penang, is back for a spectacular 44-day run at Tapak Pesta Sungai Nibong! Starting on 21 December 2024, this exciting event will run through 2 February 2025, ushering the new year with a bang. In addition to thrilling amusement rides and carnival games for all ages, visitors can indulge in a variety of delicious food and snacks, shop for personal items and home essentials, and explore engaging exhibitions by various cultural groups and government departments. The festival also features exciting sports tournaments, an exhilarating New Year's Eve (NYE) countdown party, and live performances by a star-studded lineup of artistes, including XDPC, Tomok, Zamani, Siti Nordiana, Ramli Sarip (Papa Rock), Floor 88, Rusty Blade, and many more!

Karnival Jom Heboh 2024, the longest-running outdoor carnival in the Malaysian Book of Records, is heading to Sabah for its final event of the year, taking place over three exciting days from 27 - 29 December 2024. In addition to indulging in delicious halal street food and snacks, attendees can shop for everything from groceries and personal care items to frozen food, instant beverages and telco services.

Sibu Countdown 2024 / 2025 (MOTAC Bersama Komuniti @ Sibu), the Malaysia Tourism Ministry's annual New Year celebration, will take place for the first time in Sibu from 27 December 2024 through to the early hours of 2025 at the Azman Hashim Community Sports Centre. With the theme "Sibu Carnival: Celebrating 2025 Together" the event will showcase Sarawak’s rich multicultural heritage through a variety of exciting activities. Highlights include a 100-stall food fair featuring delicious dishes from the Malay, Iban, and Chinese communities, alongside live performances and entertainment by Sarawak’s cultural groups and renowned Malaysian singers including Bunkface, Baby Shima, Nicole Lai and Uriah See. This celebration will capture the spirit of unity, not only in Sarawak but across Malaysia.
