Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple CNY Lantern & Floral Festival 2023 (佛光山东禅寺平安灯会暨花艺展2023), an annual Chinese New Year celebratory event in Kuala Langat, will take place from 19 January – 5 February 2023 at the Buddhist monastery about an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Apart from prayers, rituals, lectures, workshops and religious activities that will be held throughout this period, the highlight of the festival is a ‘Alice in the Wonderland’ themed life-sized lantern exhibition featuring a 9.14m tall rabbit that visitors and devotees can take photos with. A book fair and a vegetarian food fair will also be held on the sideline.
