Penang Marathon

Penang Bridge International Marathon 2023, the premier annual marathon in Penang, will flag off from Queensbay Mall on 17 December 2023. Three race categories - 42.195km full marathon, 21.1km half marathon and a 10km run, are open for participation. Runners will get to enjoy scenic views as they race past landmarks on land as well as the sea breeze as they run atop the iconic 13.5km Penang Bridge.

Penang Bridge International Marathon 2024 (PBIM 2024), an annual marathon organised by Penang's state government, is returning on 15 December 2024! The event offers three race categories: a 42.195km full marathon, a 21.1km half marathon, and a 10km run. This year’s race features new routes that traverse the 24km Penang 2nd Bridge, with the starting and ending points located at Aspen Vision City Central Park in Batu Kawan.
