Sawarak New Year Countdown 2023 / 2024 is set to take place on this 31 December 2023 at the iconic Kuching Waterfront. Themed "Let's Celebrate Together", the 6-hour party includes a host of performances by community groups, popular Sarawakian artistes as well as renowned Malaysian singers and groups such as Datuk Amy Search, Dato’ Zainal Abidin, Hael Husaini, Floor 88, De Fam and more. To make day even more special, a new flagpole that will become the tallest in Southeast Asia, will also be launched at the event.
