Visit Melaka Year 2024 Celebration, a New Year's Eve (NYE) countdown party held in conjunction with the launch of the state's 2024 tourism programme, will take place at Dataran Pengkalan Rama. Attendees will be treated to an evening of electrifying performances and melodious music by renowned Malaysian celebrities and artistes such as Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Ziana Zain, Anuar Zain, Siti Nordiana, Zamani Slam, Ernie Zakri and more. Other than the stage shows, a host of fringe activities from hot air balloon, food carnival, Melaka historical show, to boat parade will be held on the side. At 12 midnight, a fireworks show will be set off along the scenic Malacca River.
